January 2025This is undoubtedly one of the finest boutique hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Every aspect of the property is immaculate, from the cleanliness of the hotel, rooms, and restaurant to the pool area. The staff are exceptional—polite, attentive, and genuinely warm, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is outstanding, complemented by a delightful ambiance that enhances the overall experience. While the pricing may seem on the higher side initially, the quality of the facilities and service makes it worth every penny. Truly excellent value for money.

January 2025My husband and I chose King Street Townhouse for our wedding at the end of December. Abigail was our wedding coordinator leading up to the day and she was absolutely fabulous! In touch frequently and managed all of my worries perfectly. We hired the cinema room the night before the wedding, which was a nice touch and great value. Food and drinks were really nice. The actual day of the wedding itself I couldn't have been happier with. The team (big shout to Luis & Tom!) made everything run perfectly. I couldn't have asked for more. If you are considering King Street Townhouse for your wedding, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The team are generous with drinks - free soft drinks for the children all night which was unexpected and appreciated. So many guests commented on how lovely and intimate the venue was and it was the best wedding they'd been to. Breakfast in our own room with the wedding party the next morning was lovely too. We'll be back for an anniversary visit!

March 2025Fabulous find. The welcome we received from Jamie was amazing. He had the perfect mix of being professional and friendly, as he showed us round the facilities. We decided to stop for lunch and what a good decision that was, food was first class. Definitely be back, we will look to stay over next time and use the lovely facilities. Highly recommend.

February 2025We chose here for afternoon tea and wow what a great experience. Walking in we were warmly greeted and our coats taken. The decor and ambience were perfect with leather sofas, vintage books and assortments lining the walls. Once settled the server described what was to come. In the meantime, she handled a wooden box explaining we also had access to unlimited tea and coffee during the experience. The box held small pots of tea so you have a whiff before choosing your beverage. To start we had the floral tea in blueberry, then the tray was delivered including tuna wrap, tomato bread with cheese, pastrami, coco bread with coronation egg, chicken sandwich, lavender and lemon cake, chocolate, carrot cake, macaroon, and a scone with clotted cream and jam. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted fabulous. My feedback was my scone was quite dry, crumbly and flat. I also asked for a flat white coffee and strawberry mango tea this was delicious and well made. Overall the service was impeccable, really attentive and the 2 hours was a perfect amount as didn't feel rushed in the slightest. The ambience was perfect too would definitely return .

January 2025We recently stayed at the King Street Townhouse, and overall, it was a great experience, but a few small tweaks could have made it perfect. To start, the welcome at reception wasn’t the warmest. The staff seemed a bit moody, which wasn’t the ideal first impression, but we didn’t let it ruin our stay. On the positive side, the cleanliness was absolutely top-notch—easily a 10/10. The rooms were stunning, with a luxurious bath and incredibly comfy beds. My only gripe was being charged £2.50 for water in the minibar. Most hotels offer water for free, so it felt a bit off, especially since wine or snacks being charged is more understandable. The infinity pool and spa were definite highlights. However, it was disappointing to see that the private time slots they previously had are no longer in place. It was so busy that it took away from the relaxing and exclusive vibe the spa is known for. A bit of a shame, as it’s such a beautiful space. The downstairs bar was excellent, but we were unlucky that the terrace bar was closed during our stay—it’s usually the better spot to unwind. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and the hotel has so much going for it. With just a few small adjustments, it could easily be a 5-star experience. Would definitely recommend it for a visit, especially for the spa and the beautiful rooms!
