♿️We had a great time visiting IWM. Museum has very interesting exhibits. Staff were very courteous and shared lot of useful information about the museum. Museum has several accessibility features and they are marked clearly through out the museum. We can borrow wheel chairs. There is accessible entrance, elevators and also accessible restrooms. There special hearing aids for hearing impaired and movie in the main hall supports sign language. Overall museum is well equipped with accessible features.

The IWM North is definitely worth a visit. There is a main exhibit space which has a low slope and low level lighting. There is an hourly Big Picture Show which has audio, signed and subtitles. The museum has kids backpacks to borrow which contain ear defenders. There is good clear signage throughout building and lifts. There is also a cafe and gift shop.

Brilliant museum, well laid out. We spent 2.5 hours walking around, reading about the history and had a quick bite to eat in the cafe. Really interesting and formative. Great for kids and family day out. Also there are 5 minutes of motivational and emotional videos shown. Really moving. I definitely recommend visiting.
