Excellent staff, very helpful & friendly. Room a nice size, with bath! Would prefer radiators to aircon'! Toiletries nice quality! Greatly breakfast. Beds comfy! Very clean. Great to get free parking! Would like microwave available in communal area & breakfast items hotter! 😋

The room has soundproof window, by having two layers windows. However, they forgot that the doors, floors, drainage and water pipes need to be sound proof as well. In the midnight, guests around you are so loud that you can barely sleep till 4 a.m., as if they are stamping their feet on a hollow wooden board above you. You can even hear all conversations in the hallway. Anyway, if you want to stay here, please do yourself a favour and bring your earplugs or whatever stuff you may use to protect yourself from noise, or you may have to stay up so late until everyone falls asleep.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Manchester West for 2 nights from 1-3 Sep/23. They offered free car park at reservation online. The Hotel reception is accessed by clients walking or by car through a car park contained within the Hotel walls, which anyone would think is part/property of the Hotel. So I followed the signs and parked in the designated spaces for the Hotel clients. When I checked in reception I was not informed I had to register my car in a self-service touch screen device during the period of my stay. Later after I returned home I received several penalty notices for parking in the Hotel car park. My penalty notice appeals where declined by the Holiday Inn Car park administrators. More than 1 year later they want to force me to pay with interest the several penalty notices they issued knowing I was entitled to free car park while I was staying in the Hotel. This raises the strong suspicion there could be a scam by the Holiday Inn Manchester west and its car park to extort money from their clients.
