I’ve been several times. It can be a great experience. I alternate between this cinema and the bfi. More often than not the cinema goers are respectful of the people around them. However, I recently had a poor experience whilst watching ‘American Animals’. The couple next to me were constantly rustling confectionery wrappers and munching away. The dude had his phone in his top shirt pocket, it kept vibrating and lighting up. Switch your phone’s off and eat before or after you go to the cinema. I moved seats but not before my heart rate had shot through the roof. The end credits of ‘American Animals’ are beautiful, I didn’t see enough of them due to people traipsing out and blocking the screen. Yes I’m particular. More people should be! Having said all that, the bar area is a good place to sit before/after the film. It’s also a place to get all that rustling and munching done. Can’t fault the staff, always friendly, polite and informative. I’ll be going to the bfi more often, in future, though. It was 4 stars, down to 3, sadly.

Not the usual Curzon experience. The seats were quite compact and small. No ordering food to be brought in. And the cinema screen is was small for the size of the theater.
