Great library with knowledgeable and attentive staff. Queries always answered thoroughly and with a smile. They always go the extra mile with any interaction I've had. Only downside is the staff having to wear black all year through. You'd think a librarian would be dressed quirky and fun :)

Oh my days! How I wish I lived nearer. When I visited, the library was being well used and had a noticeboard full of interesting upcoming events. They even have a wellbeing corner complete with massage chair! I wish all libraries were like this. The building itself, a lovely red-brick build is beautiful inside and out. Be sure to check the side of the building for the bookshelves artwork.

There are problems at this library. Having booked a book on 14 May, there was no record of the booking on 3 June and I had to start again. On that same day I renewed (for the first time) another book due on 4 June and on 12 June received an email, not only stating that it was due back on 4th, also that I was fined and that I had renewed it 10 times! Their IT is clearly faulty, so be careful, keep all your borrowing, renewing and returning receipts & preferably use the personal rather than the automatic services.
