We booked City Experiences to take a trip from Greenwich Pier to Westminster and found the whole experience amazing, booking and hopping on a boat at a pier or time of our choice was easy. The trip was relaxing, the team assisted us with our drinks up to the top deck. The commentary on route was the best, I believe we were on the boat named Millennium, and the commentary was factual, but funny and engaging. So thank you to the whole team, that cared enough to make the trip wonderful and memorable for us - wasn't meant to the be highlight of our trip, but turned out to be the best bit

Was in London in June with the kids and took them on the City Cruise from Westminster. It was an excellent time. The guy on the boat who was doing the commentary was great. He was very knowledgeable and added some comedy in it as well. It was great to get off at Greenwich to see the prime meridian. We would definitely do it again….

I absolutely loved the experience on the City Cruise London Dinner Cruise on the Thames Westminster Pier dinner cruise—it was truly memorable. The decor and lighting on board were charming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was generally good, although the starter was a bit below average. However, the rest of the meal made up for it. We ordered the non vegetarian, normal option, but with HALAL option which was no wine sauce and juice instead of the complementary champagne. One aspect that could be improved was the music selection. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of variety, as all the music seemed to cater to a specific taste. It would have been better if they had offered a broader range to appeal to the diverse group of guests. The staff were lovely and attentive throughout the evening. However, I was saddened to see that the leftovers from each table were simply thrown away. This seems to be a common practice across London, but it would be great if they could consider donating the leftovers to shelters or other good causes. I even asked for a takeaway box, hoping to either give the food to someone in need or save it for later, but this option wasn’t available. In the lead-up to the cruise, I contacted them several times with special requests for my husband’s birthday. The team was incredibly friendly, responded quickly, and helped with all my inquiries. They even arranged a great setup for us, though I was informed that balloons were not allowed on board for security reasons, which was understandable. Overall, it was a delightful experience with just a few areas for improvement. I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

Depending on the weather this is a great way to tour some of the most iconic London sites. The ride offers a peaceful rest from the hustle and bustle of the city. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase. We purchased the hop-on-and off tickets and used it as a taxi. Tour guides were funny and the staff friendly.

We booked a VIP package for a Thames Dinner Cruise with City Cruises and had a lovely evening. When you board at Westminster Millenium Pier you show the QR code on your ticket and we were then ushered to a separate waiting area reserved for VIP customers. We had priority boarding and were seated right at the front of the boat so had wonderful views of all the sights. The food was good but not exceptional, however; we weren’t expecting fine dining as there’s only so much you can do when feeding a couple of hundred people on a boat! Staff were friendly and there was even a singer on board who was great. Her commentary was lovely too. The top deck was great as you could take pictures of the sights with uninterrupted views. When inside the boat you were slightly restricted due to the curvature of the boat windows and glare from the internal lights. There’s lots of drinks packages available and staff are pretty quick to serve them. The boat docks to load / unload food for the different courses whilst you’re dining so this was an interesting way of dealing with a lack of full kitchen on board the boat. All in all, it was a lovely evening that we really enjoyed. Lots of fun- just a shame about one very drunk passenger who was being sick in the men’s toilets and had to be ushered around the boat by his buddies! It was a good evening though and a great way to see the sights of London.
