Apples and Pears is an independent, fun cocktail bar in East London offering private party venue hire to celebrate birthdays, leaving parties, engagements and corporate events. The venue has hosted a range of parties and you can arrange private bar hire of the whole venue or just one bar for your guests to party the night away. The friendly staff at Apples and Pears will be available to assist you every step of the way to ensure your event is a success.
The venue is just a 5 minute walk from Aldgate East underground station with close proximity to Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Shoreditch and the City. There are delicious wood-fired pizzas, cocktails, craft beers and wines to cater for all tastes, and an atmosphere packed with East London energy. There’s a full sound system that you can connect your device to on both floors, two cocktail bars, a heated garden, Wi-Fi, screen, experienced cocktail bartenders, friendly staff and owners, and security.
Canapés and bowl food are available for if you’re a minimum of 30 guests. BBQ’s are available in the summer when hiring the whole venue or lounge bar exclusively. Apples and Pears work with only approved caterers and are happy to provide menus upon request. If you want something more casual, there’s an excellent wood-fired pizza menu for you to dig into.
Upon request Prosecco, Champagne or cocktail drink receptions for your guest's arrival can be arranged. Each bar is stocked full of international spirits and the bar team are always available to produce an array of irresistible, hand-crafted cocktails that are sure to leave your guests happy.

Cancellation policy
1. In the event that the Hirer cancels their event with Apples & Pears, any cancellation made by the Hirer must be notified in writing. A cancellation fee will be charged, and is payable as follows: • For all pre booked events cancelled in writing 90 days prior to the date of the event, the deposit will be refunded in full. • For all pre booked events cancelled 89-61 days prior to the event 50% of the deposit will be charged as a penalty. • For all pre booked events cancelled less than 60 days prior to the date of the event 100% of the deposit will be retained by Apples & Pears.

August 2024We had my husband's 40th birthday in Apples and Pears lounge bar end of July. We had hired out the lounge bar section. The whole experience from booking, to planning the event was very smooth, thanks to Kim. Kim was incredible and very quick to respond to all my questions and made sure everything was how I wanted it. The actual night was far better than I imagined thanks to a wonderful team and a great atmosphere. Reggie really looked after us and we had an amazing DJ who was so receptive to the guests. The bar staff were also fantastic and made the most yummiest cocktails. The venue was very cool and having the terrace on a hot day made it extra special! We all had a wonderful time. I will wholeheartedly recommend this place for events or evening out. Thank you again!

September 2024Me and my partner want to extend a massive thank you to Kim, Reggie and the team (security, too) for helping make our birthday party so special. We had many compliments on the venue (which we completely agreed with - it's such a cool venue!), the staff were supportive from booking right through to the day and the bar team also made a big effort to remember what we needed/wanted. I really got to a stage of forgetting we'd hired somewhere and that there were some 'processes' in place, as it was just a breeze and I was able to relax. The cocktails were lovely (and I'm fussy about my cocktails to be honest) and being able to edit the cocktail menu to have names and descriptions we wanted was really fun and went down well with guests. We would 100% recommend!

Reggie & Kim have been amazing owners to work for over the many years I've known them. If you're around this area, pop in to this Independent Cocktail Bar. You'll be surprised not only by the venue, you'll love the drinks as well. More people should know about this bar, and I'm happy to have been a part of the team.
