The Home of Lager, East London's Pillars Brewery Taproom is a unique space. Part active-brewery five days a week and part taproom, pub and bar three days a week, we've got a truly special, intimate space in Walthamstow's buzzy Ravenwood Estate that's suitable for a whole variety of events.

Perfect for a variety of different events from Christmas parties and birthdays through to engagements and receptions, we're the space that will make your event truly stand out from your standard party space or banquet hall. Set up as a bar, bierkeller, conference, dancefloor or any one of a multitude of options and have a great event with us.

We're able to do package drink deals or create tabs based on spends and offer a wide range of amazing local beers including the ones brewed on site and guests (certain guests available on demand also). We also do spirits, soft drinks and a wide array of other options. Feel free to enquire about any variety of event and drinks packages.

Situated just outside of Walthamstow's village, our venue is like few others. Split in one open plan factory-style space between the brewery space, a long area with our beer tanks and amazing optics for events; and our taproom bar with an intimate feeling and fully stocked bar.

The brewery space comfortably fits groups of 20-30 seated or can be used for socialising and enjoying DJs or bands, whilst the taproom space seats 30-40.
We're fully stocked at the bar with amazing, fresh craft beer as well as guest beers, cider, wine and spirit for every taste.

Available for simple private hire, larger reservations for non-private events and a variety of other events.

Third time I have come back for a brewery tour here - the value for money is incredible. Food with each beer tasting and Rob is unbelievably engaging, interesting and creates such a warm and welcoming environment - you won’t regret coming along.

Super hip venue tucked away in a corner of an industrial estate. Good range of pilsner, brewery on site and a couple of food vendors/trucks outside. Also classic British bar snacks inside. Nice secret spot to hang out

I was lucky enough to be a judge at the recent London Amateur Brewer's Lager Than Life home-brew competition hosted by Pillars. The whole team are super-supportive of the home brew community and really bent over backwards to make sure the event was a success. Whilst there I had some of their Vienna lager which was absolutely fantastic, along with a pale lager, which, I guess, is their interpretation of an NZ Pills, that was super clean with a delicious hop profile. Pillars certainly brew some fantastic lagers, I ended up taking a few bottles of their Eisbock back home, I think they are one of the only UK commercial breweries to brew this style of beer. Thanks!
