Our refurbished St James Suite is a beautiful and elegant room, perfect for a wide range of events, from private meetings and business lunches to Christmas parties and birthday celebrations. It is located on its own floor, with a private entrance, cloakroom and registration desk, giving your event that feeling of intimacy and exclusivity.
The room has a convenient alcove area that lends itself perfectly as a break-out area, suitable for food and drinks service . This area has direct access into the staff service area, which allows us to set up any food or drinks with minimal disturbance to your guests.

My husband and i spent 3 lovely days in this beautiful hotel just before Xmas. We loved it! We were very lucky to visit the famous bar a couple of times and enjoy the fantastic martini, it is truly outstanding! Both the hotel and bar staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. We are planning to come back in November, hopefully the refurbishment work going on at the moment will be completed, i'm looking forward to seeing the improvements!

Our recent stay at The Dukes Hotel was truly exceptional. We visited London for the first time with the dream of experiencing the legendary bar where Ian Fleming penned the first Casino Royale James Bond novel, and The Dukes certainly lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that immediately put us at ease. The check-in process was seamless and personalized, with the staff taking the time to understand our preferences and introduce us to the hotel's offerings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, indulging in deliciously crafted cocktails at the Great British Restaurant twice and savoring Afternoon Tea in the elegant Drawing Room. We even returned to the Drawing Room for a post-dinner martini, a nod to the hotel's literary history. Dukes Hotel boasts a rich history, having welcomed illustrious guests such as the Queen Mother, and Princess Diana. The Dukes Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was charming, and the overall experience was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

Trading on its dated history! Checked in on Sunday and told the renowned bar was closed but open the following night. We asked if it was ok to visit then and left it with her for around 8pm. The lady at reception took a "preauthorization payment" of £200 which was actually not held as normal but taken from my account immediately. I questioned this and was told it would be credited back if nothing ordered in the bar or restaurant. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, went to the bar on Monday for the bar manger to demand a reservation number, that the woman who checked us in should have arranged! We left without trying the alleged original martini and was made to feel second class citizens in this £450/night hotel! Very disappointed in the way the bar manager handled the situation, which actually marred the break for our 35th wedding anniversary. We didn't eat in the hotel as we had already made plans weeks in advance. We checked out and after 14 DAYS I had to chase the hotel up for the refund back to my card. If I hadn't of chased the refund it wouldn't have happened! We will not be back!
