I stayed at the Courthouse hotel a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. I was concerned about the mixed reviews but my experience staying here was very positive. The staff was incredibly attentive, the location (soho) cannot be beat, it was clean and safe, reasonably priced, and the bed was so comfortable. Our room was also very quiet for being so close to busy streets. The lobby décor is dated and the elevator could use some upkeep but as I mentioned everything seemed super clean and to me, that’s the most important. Our room was spacious, and it looked like the bathroom had been redone fairly recently. I would definitely stay here again.

We went to the Courthouse Hotel for my Mother-in-law's 80th birthday and had afternoon tea. We were very spoilt and really looked after. Mr Ramadan and Clive were very polite and friendly. They were brilliant. They even made a birthday cake for my mother-in-law and sang happy birthday. They really helped to make the day special. The afternoon tea was fabulous, very yummy. The interior was gorgeous. The shell lounge chairs were brilliant. I Would definitely go back there again.

Genuinely not sure why people wouldn’t rate this at least a 4 star, for my wife and I on our honeymoon, automatic 5 star. First off, if you’re traveling anywhere in Europe and you want to rot in a nice hotel, you’re either in later stages of life or lazy. Get out there and go see the world, and The Courthouse Hotel gives you easy access to all of London. Titch, our receptionist who checked us in, was extremely welcoming and informative. The room was exactly what we needed to sleep in and a great home base to explore. Highly recommend staying here and if we’re back in London theres a very high chance we return to the Courthouse hotel.

The staff truly make this hotel. Mr Ramadan is a gem - so attentive, polite and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and pristinely cleaned every day, however the decor could use a bit of an update for a 5 star hotel. The lobby and foyer area felt a little quiet - could do with some soft music to fill the silence perhaps?

Perfect location following a show at the London Palladium 👌 Room was comfy but bathroom looking a bit tired - cracked tiles and sink. We were right next to the rooftop bar, ideal for a drink before bed we thought. There seemed to be a private party going on though and nobody was serving - so we went to the downstairs bar which again was a private party but at least someone told us and offered to bring us a drink to the lobby. When we did go to bed, the rooftop bar group seemed to have had a great night and took a drinks trolley for a very loud ride in the corridor straight into a wall. Staff clearing up afterwards weren't fussed about being quiet while people were trying to sleep either with full volume conversation about the cameras in the corridor and rubbish bags being dragged out and dropped against our door while they went back for more. Great location but don't expect 5 star hotel standards
