Arros QD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking, brought to life in the heart of Fitzrovia. Everything revolves around the six-metre woodfire stove where our chefs weave their magic, with theatrical seating around the open kitchen downstairs and a classic dining experience on the upper floor.
Our space was conceived by globally renowned Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with open fires and a glazed wine cellar providing a spectacular visual backdrop in which to experience the evolution of paella. Our menu combines Mediterranean influences with locally sourced ingredients, accompanied by classic wines from around the world, as well as many undiscovered Spanish gems that you will find nowhere else in London.
The Bird Room is a lounge bar on the ground floor, bathed in natural light throughout the day which transforms into a cosy and dramatic setting at night. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet moment to yourself, The Bird Room offers the perfect backdrop for any occasion.

I enjoyed my food at Arros. The rice is for two so perfect to share when you have all the same dietary requirements but in my case, my other half ended up with seafood rice instead the paella! I didnt find much of a “socarras” but you wont notice this if you have not come across it before.

Had a nice meal at arroz. Beautiful venue with a nice menu full of flavour. The paellas are a must. Overall the restaurant is great, the food is delicious, but in general it is very expensive. I got 25% off, not sure if return without it.

Atmosphere and service was very good. The rice and starters were fantastic and a good portion for two people. Totally worth the money. For the dessert we had the basque cheesecake and it was a disappointment as it tasted as too strong with too much blue cheese. We could only had two spoons of it and left the rest. But nevertheless it was a great overall experience.

Authentic and fantastic paella 🥘 I really enjoyed it. The starter is also delicious. The atmosphere is so amazing. It is shame that some waiters were blunt. They could have offered better services.

As someone from Alicante, Spain, I was excited to try ArrosQD, a restaurant specializing in paellas and rice dishes cooked over fire. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the high expectations, especially given the premium pricing. To start, the front-of-house host was unwelcoming and unfriendly, setting a negative tone from the beginning. The waitstaff, none of whom were Spanish, lacked knowledge about the dishes, which diminished the authenticity of the experience. Despite the restaurant being half-empty, we waited over 30 minutes for our wine, and service was generally slow and uncoordinated. We requested to change tables due to uncomfortable seating, and this took some discussion with a host who wasn’t particularly accommodating at the beginning (she moved us finally). When our starters arrived, they brought alioli and bread at the wrong time, and they even tried clearing plates before all our starters were served. To top it off, one shared starter arrived with cutlery for only two, although we were a group of four. As for the food, the squid ink paella was overly dry, and the socarrat (the crispy bottom layer of the rice) was more burned than caramelized. One of the paellas required a £12 upgrade per person (as the one we ordered had mussels and there wasn’t mussels availability) without offering much flexibility in ingredient swaps. Overall, given the high price and numerous service issues, I wouldn’t return. For a better experience, I’d recommend the Iberica chain, which offers better food and hospitality at a more reasonable price, but I guess all depends on the day.. To finalise, I’d say not everything was bad, the starters were tasty and yummy.
