I just had the most amazing stay at Chelsea Harbour Hotel and Spa! Right from the start, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionist, whose friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to assist with various needs. My room was lovely and spacious with balcony and the location was spot on too—close to everything I wanted to explore, yet peaceful enough to unwind. Overall, my stay was unforgettable, and I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend Chelsea Harbour Hotel and Spa to anyone. You won’t be disappointed!"

I have stayed several times over the years but last couple of stays I’ve been critical of the condition of the accommodation for the rates charged due to furnishing old & very tatty, old carpeting, damaged bathrooms. I stayed this week in a refurbished suite (they are currently upgrading the hotel) which was very nice with coffee machine, kettle etc a very comfortable bed which looked new. The room overlooked front of the hotel but it was quiet. Didn’t add breakfast, not at £25. Plate of chocolates was a nice touch. My only criticisms which relates to booking in & rates/promotions is #1 many times the room is never ready for the 3pm booking in, this time wasn’t bad but past stays I haven’t got into the room for an hour even two hours past the 3pm #2 Made another booking yesterday for next month at £170 (no breakfast) but today notified of a 30% off deal which offers same room, same date at £171, so £1.00 only extra & includes breakfast, hate it when hotels do this!

It was a good stay; however, the hotel is undergoing refurbishments, so there were a few issues that were not communicated. The lifts were out of service, which wouldn’t have been a problem if there had been accessible stairs! The room itself was great, featuring a separate lounge area, two toilets, a bathtub, and a shower with a nice view. The staff was decent but not particularly attentive to guests. The location was lovely, with plenty of walking options and food/coffee shops nearby.

We came for a spa day. Towels, slippers and robe hire were included in the day. The pool is large, big enough to swim properly and 1.5m deep all over with two water 'fountains' and two bubbly pads. There were some loungers by the pool and we arrived early so we got beds but other people were sitting on the floor because there wasn't enough. The steam room was closed for maintenance which we were told before we came and we were offered to re-book but we were only free that day. The changing rooms are quite small and a number of the lockers did not work. There are drinks and snacks provided out by reception. We were hoping to get lunch in a restaurant but there didn't seem to be one at the spa and the spa appeared to be separate from the hotel so we couldn't do this in the end. All in all, I felt the spa was a bit run down and there would not be much to do except for a treatment so could not spend too much time there. Would not be looking to come back soon, but it wasn't a bad day out.

Where do I start with the chelsea Harbour? Arrived at the hotel checked in smoothly, wasn't warned about the high charges on the car park £100 for one night. This hotel was booked for my birthday and for weeks on end my partner and friends tried to get in touch with them to book services for spa, with no response at all. We arrive at the hotel, settle into the room and go meet friends down in the bar, staff were made aware we booked for my birthday before we even arrived. Had a few drinks, went back to our rooms to freshen up. Came back down to sit in the hotels area for food, we ordered all food at once, food started to come out, except my food. Everyone else had their food, one friend refused to eat straight away as she was upset that my food had not even been prepared at all and forgotten about. The staff were made aware straight away and brought out my food 40 minutes after everyone else had eaten. Absolute shambles. The next day we thought we would go down to the "spa" if you could call it that! It was a pool, a very cold pool that you definitely could not swim in. Sauna/steam room was not even couple orientated and they were separated one in the male changing rooms the other in the female, the facilities for a "spa" was not even worth calling a spa. The whole weekend was ruined due to this "5 star" hotel (more like 3) not meeting the standards that it advertises. On check out we raised every issue we had, staff were not interested and charged us all double the cost of our stay etc. We definitely won't be returning ever again.
