December 2024I stayed here for 3 nights with work, and it is one of the best hotels, for the money, I have stayed in London! Was greeted by Aaron on the front desk who was happy to help, provided great customer service, answered a few questions I has, and did it all with a smile on his face. I then went to the restaurant, the male server (unfortunately didn't get his name) was great and gave me some lovely recommendations. Jacqueline in the restaurant was also super friendly, with quick and efficient service, and again was always happy to help! The chicken burger was absolutely beautiful! Super tender and juicy, but the burger bun didn't go soggy or fall apart either. the Mac and cheese side was gorgeous, if not a massive portion! Aaron was on the desk again when I was checking-out, and again was super helpful The hotel is situated opposite Canary Wharf, so in the evening you have a great view of the lights! There is also a free ferry across the river. I would 100% recommend staying here, and thank you for your service!

December 2024This was a lovely hotel in a great location. I loved the warm cookie on arrival at reception, a nice touch! The hotel itself was aesthetically pleasing and a great space to be in from the main reception area to the other communal areas dotted around. The staff were lovely and welcoming. My room was also lovely, a decent size with good facilities such as an ironing board and iron, good cupboard space and a desk. The TV was also good with the ability to connect your own devices. Breakfast was included in my room cost, there was a good selection of standard fried British breakfast, pastries and yoghurts. There is a gym in the hotel which looked well equipped.

December 2024We had an upgrade to a queen room with a balcony. It was an especially cold night, but it was freezing in that room. The room felt like a caravan. The Booking.com listing said the room had a coffee machine, but there was only a kettle. The space was that small that the toilet door only missed the toilet seat by 1mm when opening and closing it, I'm not even exaggerating here! The hotel layout is confusing, we were given a map when we checked in but our room wasn't drawn onto it and no direction was given by the staff, also the map wasn't done well, we had to go back to reception to ask for directions and which lift to use. We only had drinks in the bar, but they were very friendly and helpful here. The view from the room was amazing. I did love the little ferry, it's free for hotel customers. You just need to show your roomcard, however the last ferry is at 11.15 pm and if your visiting London to go to gigs like we were that isn't late enough, f the last one was at 12.15 it would have been a lot better. If you have to get the tube and then walk or bus to the hotel it's a bit out of the way, and f walking Google maps takes you through parkland and woodland, not the hotels fault obviously but just a warning to other customers, it took us through this parkland and then woodland at 11.30 pm in torrential rain, honestly I thought I was going to die, we survived!

January 2025The room was freezing and the heating wasn’t working . Engineer had to come in middle of night to fix it . No dressing gown's/slippers in rooms . I had to request it For the price thought would be more convenient and at ease. The dressing gown’s given was dirty with odd slimy substance on it . I couldn’t wait to leave , was better off staying at home in comfort but wanted a change of scenery . Great view of sea from room and comfortable bed was only good thing . Seems a lot needs to be refurbished, the tv was outdated only 2 channels working , can’t AirPlay , everything was old and some things not working. No fridge in the hotel rooms again considering the price of over £200 for 1 night . I felt was a wasted trip unfortunately and the worst Hilton hotel I’ve stayed in.

January 2025Positives, amazing cookie on arrival, location good with a free ferry over and back to Canary Wharf. Nice bar to grab a drink. That’s pretty much were it stops Negatives - we booked a queen size room from the images online the room looks decent and modern. Do not be fooled, we ended up in a tiny box room with a bed slightly bigger than a single. Paid €450 for 2 nights with no breakfast. The hotel needs serious doing up, more like faulty towers once you get past reception. Pictures online are modern rooms with a brick wall, this is not what we got and judging by the reviews we are not the only ones this has happened too. They did move us to a different room but I wouldn’t stay it’s any better than the first. Terrible pillows, bed and the worst sleep we’ve ever had. Banging and alarms going off from 5am this morning from outside. Seriously regret booking this place and staying here. Way nicer hotels around than this and for a lot less than what we paid. Would avoid. If you like small box rooms, pillows with no feathers or fluff in them, uncomfortable beds, faulty towers, a shower that leaks everywhere when you get in and being woken up throughout the night then step right up because this is the hotel for you.
