We were made to feel welcome and valued. The meal was delicious. We had the Butter chicken and cashew nut with Saffron rice and our grandson had Fish and Chips. Dessert sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream and cheese and biscuits with Armagnac to finish. All excellent

Enjoyed a really nice evening here after a theatre matinee. The location was out toward our place. Very nice views of the Thames. The food was very good and the service was great! Very friendly servers who took time to chat a bit. Not very expensive, just slightly more (couple pounds per plate) than a typical British pub. Highly recommend for a relaxing evening out.

Such a great service. We went there on our anniversary but didn’t tell the restaurant. One of the servers( Luisa) saw our anniversary card on the table and congratulated us. After we enjoyed having a lovely meal with a great service, they brought us a cake with a chocolate message. Since we didn’t expect any of this, we were surprised and were so grateful. Thank you Luisa, Simona and Klara so much for your amazing hospitality. Even without a cake, we would have loved their service anyway. We would come back again!

Great view on the waterfront, good selection of British food. Sunday roast is the best you can get, price/quality ratio. Other dishes are slightly expensive for what they offer. Overall I’d suggest this restaurant for large gatherings to enjoy a fresh beer watching the sunset!

I ate lunch there on 24 Sep 2021. The tomato and pepper soup tasted only of very harsh pepper skins, and that mainstay of my student days - mixed herbs. Having watched Gordon on YouTube making burgers with his daughter the previous week I went for the burger for my main course. It wasn’t nice. I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked, and no wonder because I dread to think what it would have looked like medium rare. It had a smooth, bouncy, homogeneous texture - like it had been zapped in a food processor for 15 minutes. - with no visible evidence that it was made from a decent cut of meat. It was tasteless and over-salted, probably in an attempt to add some flavour. The cash-and-carry burger I had the next day from the van at my local football club was considerably more enjoyable than the one I ate at the Narrow. With a beer and service charge the meal came to over £42 and certainly wasn’t worth it.
