At the northern fringe of Regent’s Park, the Feng Shang Princess floats serenely on a quiet stretch of canal. You can’t miss its pagoda-style peaked roof and bright red paint. Inside, its two floors are done out in a smart, traditionally Chinese style that’s a good match for old-favourites menus that run from Cantonese to Szechuan. Look out for the contemporary options, such as vegetarian crispy duck – a little reminder that this is no ordinary Chinese restaurant.
At the northern fringe of Regent’s Park, the Feng Shang Princess floats serenely on a quiet stretch of canal. You can’t miss it: a peaked roof and a bright red exterior make it look like a pagoda. The paint job is a natural fit with Christmas parties and, at night, an excess of lanterns will add extra ambience. Inside, its two floors are done out in a smart, traditionally Chinese style that’s a good match for menus that run from Cantonese to Szechuan. Along the way, you’ll find old friends like prawn toast, beef with black bean sauce, and crispy chicken with mango and chilli paste. But look out too for some more contemporary options: vegetarian crispy duck is a house speciality, and another little reminder that this is no ordinary Chinese restaurant.

October 2024The restaurant has a beautiful appearance that blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape. It is highly recommended to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy a walk along the river. The interior of the restaurant is both exquisite and comfortable. I must say, the food was excellent. We ordered four dishes, each one authentic and delicious, making it a perfect dining experience. Black Pepper Beef Udon Dim Sum Mix Fried Vermicelli Chinese kale
Phai Dip
December 2024Had lunch here, was served by very friendly and tentative staff, the atmosphere and food was top notch, really lovely slightly tucked away restaurant.

November 2024The hot and sour soup was great. The sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried noodles were also good. Slightly overpriced but overall experience was nice.
