After having stayed in 4 other hotels in the area I loved this one. It is nice, clean, rooms are good sized. There is everything in the rooms a traveler might need - toiletries, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, hand lotion. All that neroli-bergamot scented. They provide slippers and bathrobes too. There is a complimentary minibar with some soft drinks and water which they fill up for you every day. The breakfast choices are amazing - I had French toasts with berries and honey - so yummy!

Very comfy bed, great shower, good location, nice decor, and a balcony too! The staff were helpful, professional and friendly. They also went out of their way to provide a welcome amenity to celebrate our anniversary. We would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

Room was lovely and clean but it was quite small. Bed and linen were good as well as the bathroom. We loved the closeness to Paddington station and the Elizabeth line, just a few minutes away but saying that it is a very quiet hotel.

The hotel was really close to the station, had a really comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The room was a bit small. The only problem I had was I stated I would arrive at 10am. When I got to the hotel, first the lady at the front desk asked me to wait while she finished marking the luggage left by some other customers. This was fine, however she took a lot of time and even started attending to other customers who arrived after me to check out. She asked me to go sit down and she will get to me to check me in, I stayed by the front desk. When I finally was able to check in, I was told that the room was not ready yet and they needed 20 minutes to get the room ready. I was already tired from early travel and had wasted a lot of time waiting around to be attended to, this was frustrating. For the price paid and considering the type of hotel this is I expected better. By the time I got my room it was 11am which I think is unacceptable considering it was just a day booking for a few hours. The amenities and comp items in the room were good.

This is an edit to a previous review. My husband and I stayed at this hotel in early June. While we liked it a lot (see below), I woke up on the second day of our stay covered in insect bites (we assumed bedbugs). We had already booked a return night a week later. I provided photos to the front desk and was told someone would contact me. No one ever did. We returned a week later, and were greeted with apologies, a room upgrade, and free breakfast, as well as a promise that we would be refunded for our original stay. I have contact them twice subsequently (by phone and email), but have not received either an update or compensation. This is a nicely appointed and well located hotel . Easy access to Hyde Park and Paddington station. Rooms are small (predictable for London), but design of the room and bathroom makes excellent use of the available space. We had problems with the room when we stayed, but the staff quickly and efficiently met our concerns and made appropriate accommodation. We are likely to stay here again in the future.
