One of my favourite galleries with a great variety- from 18th century to the most modern pieces. I like that they change certain exhibits over some time as well. It helps to keep things fresh. The place also never gets too crowded so it’s great for a chill stroll that doesn’t feel touristy. Also lovely staff who were friendly, helpful and joked with my friend and I when we entered. It was quite lovely~

Sunbath in the garden. Traditional and modern art. Many people practice their drawing and painting skills as well. Nice cafe upstairs. There's play space for kids!

I had a wonderful experience here I came around 3 PM and of course you could spend the whole day in this building but I do feel like 2 1/2 hours is a good amount of time. I also ended the visit in the café where they had limited selections an hour before closing, but nevertheless, a beautiful space to sit outside and enjoy the weather and a slice of cake. I would highly recommend doing the exhibits in chronological order. I did not do that and I feel like I missed out somewhat.

It was awesome visiting the Tate. It isn't as crowded as the other museums and you'll find people sketching and relaxing inside. There are many galleries showing everything from medieval English art to more modern and contemporary designs and exhibits. My favorite one was the green room with portraits and paintings from almost floor to ceiling. The JW Turner galleries were also very nice. Loved Ophelia and The Lady of Shallot.
