In the heart of Covent Garden and set in London’s original flower market, London Transport Museum has three unique event spaces available for hire.
The interactive Museum Galleries can be hired before public opening for naturally lit breakfasts under the Victorian glass roof, and after hours for memorable evening events. Guests enter through the immersive World City Walkway and then have exclusive access to two floors of London’s rich transport history. Highlights include an iconic collection of red Routemaster buses, early Tube carriages and an Elizabeth Line driving experience. The quintessential backdrop is complimented by integrated branding opportunities and bespoke menus delivered by some of London’s finest caterers, carefully selected due to their excellence. The Galleries can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated dinner, 600 guests for standing receptions and 200 guests for seated presentations.
The Cubic Theatre is a purpose-built auditorium featuring 110 distinctive moquette seats, perfect for conferences, training sessions and film screenings. A high-spec short throw projector ensures slick presentations, whilst a DCI/DCP projector and Dolby Digital surround sound offers a full cinema experience. The adjoining Foyer can be used for registration, catering and breakouts with great branding opportunities. All guests are welcomed to visit the Galleries, making for inspiring break times.

December 2024You could spend about 2 hours here. This place is amazing. The gift shop is amazing too. They have a great selection of gifts, toys & clothing.

November 2024This is a really interesting museum. There are a lot of interactive parts to the museum as well such as a couple of opportunities to drive a tube simulator, sitting in the driver's seat of a bus, getting on some old train carriages etc. You can easily spend a few hours in here. Entry is a bit pricey but you do get an annual membership as part of the cost. Even if you're just visiting once I would say it's good value for money

December 2024We went to the London Transport museum as a treat for our grandson's 3rd birthday and we all loved it. Our grandson enjoyed all the buses and trains and there were plenty of interactive exhibits for him to try. As a bonus the children could visit Santa, and the museum has a great system where they played with Santa's elves before going in. Thanks to Babs for being an excellent elf, her friendliness and enthusiasm made the day. Father Christmas was excellent too and his assistant elf made sure all the children had a lovely time, and led a " happy birthday" for our grandson. The older ones loved seeing the old London buses we used to use. There is also a very good exhibition about how London Transport coped in the war years. An excellent day, well worth the admission price.

December 2024Have been to this amazing museum countless time with my family - it's home to many great memories. There is so much to see! The displays are super interactive and fun and there are a lot of activities to do, from a train driving experience to even going inside old tube carriages and buses. There are a lot of activities for children and adults to enjoy. The shop is huge and has such nice things for sale, as well as there being a cafe. The transport museum is one of the best museums in london, highly recommend!
