Right down the road from Tower Bridge is the Dixon, a delightful Marriott partnered hotel. Stayed for a night on 6Sep2024 in 401. Alif was duty manager at the time who was extremely helpful and informative on queries. The room had already been prepared with a cot and 4pm late checkout had been arranged 👌. Both mobile/card access enabled on checking in. My +1 had used the gym in the morning and had an early breakfast. Meanwhile, I had a much more relaxed approach for a Saturday morning having breakfast at 10.45. A young lady, Rebekah was well spoken and provided a very helpful & warm service. Grace was also very kind and helpful. I'd happily stay here again, and have 4-5 more planned for the rest of the year in the diary. I hope the rest of the stays are just as pleasant... (and if not I shall update the review 😆 )

Wonderful hotel. Could just do with some extra, tea, coffee and milk in the room. Also, air conditioning in the bar was freezing. We couldn't stay in there to have a drink. Staff were lovely and beautiful room.

The hotel is truly worth a visit. The history makes it even more desirable. The location is amazing. The bar is nice, but the prices are way overpriced. Our room was not ready until almost 6 pm. Our travel companions room had air conditioning problems that the hotel said we're fixed after 2 hours. However, that wasn't the case. They had to switch rooms after a couple of hours of settling in. On checkout, the hotel informed us that we had eaten breakfast and lunch at the restaurant twice, and tried to charge us for such. That was not the case. Be sure to check your bill before checking out. The hotel as a whole is worth the visit, but just do your part and be cognizant of everything.

I had the afternoon tea, service is great, very nice and friendly staff. The court room (where we had the afternoon tea) is nice and it is clean. I can't rank the rooms or breakfast/ menu food as I didn't stay there but the afternoon tea was ok, quality of sandwiches and scones can be better, portions size is good and overall good value for money. The drinks are nice and a great tea selection. I wouldn't go back there for an afternoon tea.

I’d place this firmly in the ‘below average’ category given the standard of facilities and service. Rooms are adequate - clean and and reasonably spacious by UK standards. However shower pressure is absolutely woeful! What a terrible start to my day, having to have a shower under a shower head that dribbles water. We also had a couple of cocktails in the bar, which was fine. However the bar seemed to missing lots of items so the cocktails we actually wanted, weren’t available. The location is OK - it’s slightly further south than is ideal. All in all, for the price point and considering the brand; I’d have expected something considerably better.
