Really disappointed with our experience. We are a tenant in a different Runway East building (London Bridge) and booked a meeting room for 3 days at the Borough Market location. Very different approach. On day 2 the aircon broke. It was 28 outside and 27 in our meeting room. The building management were aware but no one wanted to speak with us. One of our team went to speak to reception and were met with extreme indifference. No effort to move us, no offer of a fan or something to help with the extreme temperature, no offer of water or ice. Nothing. We will relocate today because we cannot have a repeat of yesterday and it’s going to be even hotter. The runway east team here simply couldn’t care less. We are a new tenant with Runway East and the team at our office location are great. Zack has been really helpful in solving access issues for example and very responsive. The whole team at London Bridge are great. Unfortunately our experience at the Borough Market location has been terrible. Updated to respond: we are fully aware of the air conditioning issue as the engineers were working directly outside our meeting room. That was never my issue. Of course that’s not the company’s fault. one of our team went to level 2 to speak to the runway east team at 3pm yesterday so your comment below is incorrect. The team on level 2 simply acknowledged ‘yeah it’s hot’. We suggested that maybe a fan or some cold drinks would help but there was just no engagement or even recognition that something could be done. We were not offered a fan at any point. We found one ourselves. We were in the room until 6.15pm so you were all long gone before we departed. suggesting we left before you could speak with us is nonsense. We left at lunchtime today and won’t be back. Someone in the RE team finally came to see us just as we were leaving I suspect only because you read my review. They asked, comically, ‘if everything is ok’. Prior to that we were completely ignored. I will leave it there. It’s a shame that companies like yours only seem to care or respond when things are shared publicly. You had multiple opportunities to engage with us yesterday and today but refused. Yet you choose to take the time to write a reply to my review. I would suggest you take the opportunity to change that practice.
