Science Museum, Exhibition Road, London, SW7 2DD -
Up to
200 guests
For more than 150 years, the Science Museum has been educating and entertaining visitors and has occupied its current building since 1928. Just as the progress of science is constantly advancing and expanding, so the Science Museum has expanded, continually updating and adding ever more exciting and dynamic exhibitions and venues. Even now, there is a masterplan to create a system of new galleries opening in 2013 and beyond.
Originally constructed in 1890, the Smith Centre has been elegantly preserved to present four spaces of varying size that suit a wide variety of event purposes.
From small meeting rooms for up to 20 guests, to an ample-sized salon accommodating 200 guests for a canapé reception, the Smith Centre provides versatility throughout.
The Smith Centre is located on the ground floor of the Science Museum and benefits from a fully integrated AV system, enabling a seamless production experience that links to Illuminate.

October 2024Awesome models and exhibits everywhere you look! The model replicas were extremely accurate and detailed, text was very clear to read and the text to speech features on many of the exhibits were clear and formal. Would definitely come back here!

November 2024This is a fantastic science museum with amd abundance of items to view/experience. The museum is very big and the collection of technology incredible. If you want to enjoy it all you should plan at least five hours. In spite of visiting on a Saturday the museum never felt packed or too full (unlike the Natural History Museum, which is completely impossible on a weekend). We enjoyed the visit very much and we will be back again.

December 2024It’s a fantastic place for all ages, featuring interactive exhibits, fascinating displays on space, technology, and medicine, and hands-on activities for kids. It also showcases a wide range of old model cars, trucks, machinery, spaceships, etc. their replicas, offering a glimpse into the history of innovation. Entry is free, though some special exhibitions may require tickets. A must-visit for curious minds and history enthusiasts!

October 2024Teenage kids loved it! Fully engaged. Lovely and clean space with cafes and toilets on every floor. Spaces to eat your packed lunch too. Staff very helpful and friendly. Situated in a beautiful area with lots to see nearby although I'd leave a good 3-4 hours for your visit.

October 2024Its poorly lit. Apart from that its a knowledgeable place for kids. Or for individuals who like science. There’s space science, aerospace, engineering, technicians - best part about it is it let u explore your future technician. Very good for kids. Medicine science And lastly “who am I” its very intriguing for kids. Its lets you explore your DNA, your body, your ancestors etc.
