Thistle Kensington Gardens provides an ideal venue for business meetings, family occasions and other events. Our largest function, the Park & Porchester Room, seats up to 45 people theatre-style, making it suitable for presentations and larger meetings, with views over Kensington Gardens.
We have a further room suitable for board and team meetings, training sessions, presentations, interviews and private dining. Large windows let in lots of natural light, helping to keep everyone feeling fresh and superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens makes this a wonderful venue for a wedding reception.
The Park and Porchester rooms are suitable for meetings in various layouts. It can accommodate up to 45 people theatre-style, and 30 boardroom style. With natural day light and views of Kensington Gardens, the flexibility of this room makes it perfect for any layout required.

December 2024Lovely place, great location for my business trip. Convenient for getting around London. Loved the restaurant/bar. Housekeeping was very nice with my room service time. Nice reception but a bit busy at times.

January 2025All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. Everyone in my group felt very welcomed and any problems we had were solved very quickly, especially the restaurant manager who managed to serve us cooked breakfast at 5:30am. Location was great as it's a 3 min walk to the nearest tube on the central line. Will stay here again on my next trip to London.

January 2025Absolutely would not recommend staying here. My partner and I had a 6 night stay here. On the first night we complained to reception that our bathroom was COVERED in mould. They said they couldn’t do anything about it for the night and would have to stay in the mould infested room but the next day it would be properly cleaned while we were out…It wasn’t. We were only moved to a different room on our last night of stay after I had to make another complain to reception that our room had been serviced by the housekeeping but our “new clean towels” were covered in what honestly looked like poo. Rubbish bins in the room were never emptied and cleaned. Bed linen had obvious stains. And the rooms were VERY small. The phone in our room did not work so when we had to raise complaints with reception/management we would have to go to reception in person but no one was ever there to help! We would have to wait long periods of time for someone to come and when we would wait multiple other guests would be waiting with complaints about the hygiene of their rooms as well! We are very unhappy with our stay as making people stay in a room infested with mould for 5 nights with no compensation is inexcusable. We will definitely come back to London but NEVER stay here again!
