For a weekend stay in London, this hotel makes an ideal place to stay. Whilst the doors into/within rooms are thin, the rooms are generally comfortable. The bathroom is functional & perfectly OK, you get hot water quickly & the shower is fine. Nice smelling complimentary shower gel & shampoo. The bed is comfortable, albeit the pillow is flat & hard. The breakfast is typical of a hotel this size, with a typical buffet selection. The general ambience is nice & relaxing. All in all it is well worth staying here if visiting London.

I've stayed at the Corus a few times with mixed results. This last time I was given a single room which was tiny, dirty carpet, single bed. I felt like Harry Potter Under The Stairs!! Huge extractor fan outside my window which was noisy. Hotel is nice. Fantastic location and reasonably priced normally, but I felt on this occasion my room did not offer value for money. Staff are good and friendly. Decent breakfast. There were lots of fruit flies ion and around the bar which was off putting.

Overall okay stay hotel is a bit outdated hallways smelled like mold and no radiator built into room so was provided a portable one. There was quite a large vent on the ceiling at first didn't think nothing of it but kept getting woken up in the night by people above us and it wasn't just a little noise you could hear EVERYTHING

What can I say, great location, great restaurant and great staff that's about it. Negatives: room smelled so damp it hit you as soon as you opened the door. We had to keep a window open which when cold outside isn't ideal. The carpet is so badly stained that it should be replaced. The shower pressure was horrible. The toilet constantly ran and wouldn't flush properly. Positives: like I said location was great. Staff super helpful. Lunch in restaurant was superb. We paid £146.30 for one night. Would I recommend it for that price...unfortunately probably not.

Staff refused to get the ramp out due to it being 'too steep to walk on' and so my mum had to struggle up and down the entrance steps. There are lifts inside, but that's if you can access the building first. The 'accessible' room wasn't big enough to fit the walker in, so it had to be left outside. The bath was way too high for my mum to step over, and so she ended up having to have a strip wash in the sink. On the plus side, the restaurant staff were absolutely amazing. They were all very polite, accommodating, and always on the ball. I can't point out any particular staff member as they all did an amazing job every morning. They deserve a big well done.
