Extensive wines from storied producers and young upstarts. We curate a playful and textural wine selection, from notes of smoke and citrus to refreshing discoveries from further afield.
Our incomparable acoustics will bring a carefully curated vinyl collection from the heyday of rare jazz, funk, tropical and disco right up to the more sophisticated soulful selections from the here and now.
The venue has two floors and diverse layouts can be discussed according to the Event type.
Our Wine Room is a lovely semi-private feeling space at the very end of the ground floor, just next to an amazing wine display.
The layout can be differently arranged according to your type of Event. The room holds up to 10 people for a seated dinner and up to 18 for standing drinks and food.

March 2025A real hidden gem tucked away in the midst of London. Food is cooked on an open flame 🔥 and you can dine and watch the kitchen create their masterpieces. The food is simply scrumptious, the ribs were amazing, the tuna tartare was delicious, artichoke was divine, cocktails a plenty 🍹... I could go on and on...! The waiting staff were really friendly and relaxed and if you're in the mood for music, downstairs has a really great vibe with vinyls on the go. Highly recommended

March 2025Food we ordered: tuna tartare, oysters with single shot martini, chicken and waffles, sweet potato agnolotti, iberico ribs. Tuna, not balanced, too much bitter shiso leaf. Oysters very good and the single shot martini straight from their freezer is excellent. Chicken and waffles, excellent, such an interesting flavor combo with liver parfait and rhubarb compote. Agnolotti was fine, nothing out of this world. For dessert, we had tiramisu, excellent flavor but served in weird bowl that’s difficult for sharing. While food was excellent, I thought portions were criminally small for the prices. Spent 185 and was satisfied but I knew I’d be hungry within an hour vs I’ve spent 120 at other similarly excellent restaurants and been absolutely stuffed (think Straker’s and Canteen just around the corner). Also unnecessarily got a reminder at 7:45 that the table was due at 8pm. Caia is no different than any other fancy modern European restaurant with regard to 1.5 hour maximum seating, but nowhere else did I need a warning that my table time was almost done, usually they can see that I’m finishing my dessert at 7:45, so I will definitely be out by 8pm. Not really a big deal, just from a service standpoint, felt unnecessary to kill an environment that so far had been extremely hospitable and does seem to be a noted pattern in other reviews.

April 2025We recently dined at Caia in Notting Hill and had a mixed experience. The food was undeniably delicious, and the ambiance was inviting, aligning with other reviews that praise its “warm ambience” and “brilliantly curated vinyl collection.” However, we felt rushed throughout our meal. Despite ordering multiple cocktails and dishes, the staff hurried us to order and eat, making us feel pressured to leave quickly. While we understand the need for table turnover, the meal’s high price point led us to expect a more relaxed dining experience. Not coming back :-)
