The extensive exposed brickwork and eye-catching arches of the Morris Room bring the period touches of Mary Ward House to their full potential, and the space acts as a natural counterpoint to the similarly striking Arnold Room.
Walking inside really does feel like stepping back in time to the turn of the 19th century. The exposed brickwork has been weathered over the years to vintage fashionability, and guests can’t help running their hands along its cool smooth surface and taking in the traditional columns and arches running so impressively along the centre of the room.

February 2025I was part of a staff team delivering a conference for 300 people in February 2025. I cannot praise the venue and the staff enough. There were plentiful facilities, the rooms are beautiful and the tea/coffee/biscuits provided included all flavors, suitable to so many different diets/tolerances etc. We were able to have items delivered direct to the venue for a few days before and David really did everything to help us hold a successful event. Although there are steps, the venue had staff constantly available with ramps, there is a lift for access to the main areas etc. Discounts are offered for charities in line with the founding principles of Mary Ward House.
