Motel Studios is one of East London's most well-equipped and visually-appealing photographic studios and event hire space.
In the historic setting of a Victorian railway arch, this unique event space has an old-world, heavy-industry charm that has provided inspiration for the creative teams at fashion houses like Dior, Louis Vuitton and Ellie Saab, and at media organisations that include Channel 4, GQ, Vanity Fair and Sky Arts.
Motel is located at the heart of London’s fashion and creative industries, and has become the venue hire space of choice for scores of leading brands, photography professionals and individuals. The boutique studio is available for hire seven days a week and is just a short walk away from Hoxton, Shoreditch High Street, Old Street and Liverpool Street stations.
Motel is a collection of Victorian railway arches that create extremely versatile event spaces. All 3 studios can be hired individually or together. Studio 3 can be the perfect green room for big events or, with our newly refurbished mezzanine can accommodate various events with many breakout areas. Motel hosts a variety of events, such a product launches, screenings, pop-ups, workshops and private parties, including Christmas parties. CLIENTS INCLUDE: BBC, Virgin Atlantic, Nike, Nikon, Dior, LVMH, PUMA and more.

August 2024My wife and I got married at Motel Studios and we were so thrilled with our decision. We fell in love with the space on the first viewing and never looked back. The space is super dynamic and versatile. Taking on the 2 studios, for quite a reasonable price, allowed us to organise our day, exactly how we wanted it. Along with the space, we were absolutely thrilled to have had Shaika and Theo, helping us arrange things around timings, decorating, suppliers, parking, music etc. We definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without them. We really can't recommend the space enough, for pretty much anything, but especially for a slightly non-traditional wedding. If we had to do it all over again, Motel Studios would be our first call.

May 2024We shot in this space yesterday, and it was wonderful, the staff were kind and everything we needed was available (cable drums, polyboard, drinks, refreshments, a music system etc), and anything you didn't have, was brought to you instantly and without fuss. The space is beautiful too, and very well priced, albeit a bit cold, which cannot be helped with such an environment. Although they did have that covered too with multiple large heaters in the studio!

July 2024We recently had our wedding day at Motel Studios and what an incredible day it was. We couldn't recommend the team at Motel enough for helping us create the most amazing wedding day. From the early stages of planning to the very end of the night the team at Motel (we worked with Shaika and Natalie) were incredibly thoughtful, dedicated, organised and super fun!!

May 2024I came across the space via third party website and liked the feel and vibe of the space. I felt it would be perfect fit for a prominent client of mine who required a space of this description, I personally visited the space a day or two later and was met by a rather rude and very hostile person called John. I am a friendly guy and I have booked various spaces in London and around the world so I was very shocked by his behaviour towards me. Maybe it was an off day, I don't know? But I will definitely not be booking this space.
