September 2024Amazing Sunday roast! We had our meal on the barge during a storm and it was brilliant. The pork belly was delicious. Will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Hackney again.

August 2024Such a great experience. The staff were so accommodating on a number of issues and so lovely. The ambience is the best - music, lighting, beautiful venue. Gave such a nice chill British 2000s feel! The food was exquisite. We ordered the steak, beef tartare, crab sando, cabbage and asparagus. For me the highlight was the cabbage and tartare but honestly everything was stunning. Will definitely be back again. The whole venue beyond the restaurant is amazing too, a real show stopper. You can tell the staff genuinely are passionate about offering a high quality experience and making sure their guests have a great time. Loved it!

August 2024The food, which is why you're considering this place tasted amazing but be prepared to wait for it. Our party of two was waiting 45 minutes for some tap water and nearly an hour for 2 mains, while a party of 10 got served 3 courses and drinks while we waited. We were given the excuse that this party had 'overwhelmed the kitchen' which doesn't really track, when the rest of the downstairs was basically empty. Its quirky, it's fun and the food tasted delicious. . . But it's overpriced considering the service and the general manic atmosphere.
