Visited here for lunch after long walk, received warm welcome & sat outside in delightful beer garden. Had nachos with all sorts on which was well presented & tasted good. Had a ginger beer which was very refreshing. Quite expensive but enjoyable all the same. Toilets lovely & clean.

Walked in famished and thirsty after a long walk in the observatory. Welcomed warmly and seated. Good food and great drinks. We had Sunday Roast consisting of Roasted potatoes, Rosemary salted Yorkshire pudding and Rolled Pork Belly. Added a Fish and chips and a plate of Calamari rings. To drink we ordered Guilt free Mojito (Tonic, coconut syrup, Lime, Mint) Bitter Mango and Tavern Colado. Loved each moment spent there. Worth each penny. Shamili the person who attended us was brilliant with knowledge of the food

Tourist trap of course as it’s the first pub you see when exiting the park, the prices replicate this £7.90 for a pint of madri is insane!! You read that right £7.90 for one pint ! The only reason I go in this pub is because it’s very dog friendly and provides plenty of water bowls with cold water and help yourself dog treats that always go down well. It’s in a good location but Greenwich has an abundance of local pubs which are more traditional and much better value only a few minutes walk away from here.
