A unique events & meeting space, 7 minutes’ walk from Cutty Sark DLR station. Situated by the riverside, The AHOY Centre is a watersports based charity, so all revenue raised through event hire will help to continue the charity’s work in helping disadvantaged youth and disabled persons learn valuable life skills through Sailing and Rowing.
The Hall is suitable for dining, social, conference and training functions. With a viewing balcony set over the River Thames making a unique hire space setting with stunning panoramic views of Canary Wharf, historic Royal Greenwich and the Cutty Sark.

August 2024Absolute dream team Zak, Amber, Alfie and the support crew. Two days of genuine pleasure completing the RYA National sailing scheme Level 1 - Start sailing course. Lots of practical experience on the Thames under expert guidance, alongside easy to understand classroom theory. Would highly recommend. Wetsuits and life jackets provided. Very beginner friendly but challenging if you want to push yourself.
