Located in the heart of the East End, minutes from Bank station and the heart of central London, the People's Palace was unveiled following a £6.3m refurbishment. Home to a technically advanced 770 seat theatre with retractable seating, dressing rooms and one of London's largest stages. Originally opened in the 1930s, this art-deco masterpiece has seen the likes of the Rolling Stones grace its stage. The space lends itself to a myriad of uses: performances, gigs, lectures and talks, filming, rehearsals and conferences.

It’s been great experience. However, it was not very warm enough considering the cold weather.

After the show finished and the lights came up we felt trapped! The exit on balcony level was locked and they opened only downstairs exit! With nowhere to go I’ve asked the steward to open the fire exits so people can go out but been told I will be ,,arrested,, if I will try to open the doors!! This place needs another plan to evacuate people ! Causing unnecessary anxiety and stress, making people feel ,,trapped,, and refusing to open other exit doors / definitely not the ,,people palace,, after the show finishes!!
