July 2024Lovely welcome, friendly and efficient staff. Attentive and humorous at times. Meal, especially shared platter starter was tasty, and piping hot. Was my birthday and given lemon vermicelli - nice touch. A lovely dining experience- will return.

August 2024We ate at Bella Italia on our first night visiting York and were delighted with our meals. Our waitress Maria was extremely polite, friendly and helpful and all of our food was delicious: pizzas, salad and chicken wings. We look forward to returning next time we visit York and would highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10 from us!

August 2024All staff acknowledged our party and were really helpful as I tried to keep my almost 2 year old entertained. Chatting to us and interacting with him really made us feel welcome and it wasn't a problem when I took him to walk round the restaurant to stretch his legs. He even got a wave from the chefs in the kitchen. Great team! Food was delicious and my allergies and vegan diet were well catered for. My toddler ate like a king for £1 with the kids eat free offer.

July 2024Service is quite good, mostly very nice people, but the food is damn awful and doesn’t have anything in common with italian food. Flatbread was the most fatty that i’ve ever eaten also not very rich in taste and lasagne is not even a lasagne. almost no meat, just slices of pasta in a sauce not even layered. never i would ever recommend this place to anyone
