November 2024I came here recently on a Thursday with a few friends. The atmosphere was just lovely; live music and a real upbeat and happy vibe. The food was delicious. Special shout out to Kerry. He went above and beyond for our group. Great service and such a nice attitude. We will be back soon!

January 2025Nice pub with a great selection of sandwiches. We had the 6oz Ruben which was much needed and delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and suggested some non-alcoholic beers we hadn't come across.

December 2024Quite interesting to find a place specialising in Reuben’s sandwiches around here. Choice of marble rye and bagels. Enjoyable meal for all four in our party. Impressive selection of wines by the glass. Friendly atmosphere worth a visit.

December 2024Booking our table area was easy and straightforward. On the night we arrived early and the manager found us a nice spot to drink and relax before our table were ready. The food was nice and the service friendly. We enjoyed our night at the 'Tavern'.

January 2025Not the best experience at The Clerkenwell Tavern. The older, short guy working at the bar had a pretty questionable attitude, which really killed the vibe. Didn’t try the food, but it looked decent from what I saw. The music was fine at first, but it kept getting louder and louder to the point where we were shouting just to hear each other by the end of the night. Honestly, though, it’s the unfriendly service from that one staff member that sealed the deal for me—I won’t be coming back. If you’re in the area, save yourself the trouble and check out The Exmouth Arms down the street instead. Much better atmosphere and way friendlier service.
