December 2024During a cost-of-living reality, it's good to see cinema tickets as low as £9.99 (online bookings only). And from £10.99 for in-cinema purchases. It's a tough climate, too, for cinemas as they make little money from ticket sales, so take a hit. Some have even been forced to close since lockdown. Hence, the pricing on snacks. A popular film like Wicked, which I saw at Vue (and will choose for other releases), will hopefully improve their margins. Another plus at the Vue is the comfy, recliner seats in each theatre. It felt so cosy, I didn't want to leave. Got this photo of the Wicked image as the credits rolled while many others had left the theatre. Finally... personally, I prefer to bring my own snacks (though the cinema has plenty of sugary and savoury options if you like). Enjoy your movie! ✨️ 🎬

March 2025Booked 2 tickets last Saturday And visited yesterday .Started by the bar/food area. They claimed they don't have trays therefore one of the employees helped us to carry up everything. Then I had to go back for napkins as I forgot to request this "Extra" with the food. The movie didn't start .For the time we managed to find someone capable of sorting the movie out half of the food got cold and soggy.Apparently the movie was cancelled and they didn't know how we bought tickets days before ...Very interesting. After the trailers we realized the curtains partly left in the screen.I don't even know what to say .Not to mention the old chairs I haven't seen in a while ago and I do visit Vue cinemas often .
