Honestly I’m so impressed by Albert Schloss! The food was delicious! The staff were so friendly and the perfect amount of attentiveness. The atmosphere was great with a live pianist/singer doing covers. We had the Sunday big meat platter (can’t remember the actual name) everything was incredible, including the mash potato!! Also obviously the beers are amazing too. I’m definitely going back :)

A great restaurant in the heart of the West End. This is a seriously good place! The menu is extensive and the food portions are big and generous. Very tasty food and the cocktails are excellent. The pork knuckle was delicious and very filling. The krokettes are a particular winner too. The venue itself is spacious and works well for large parties, small groups, families, or couples. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The only downside was that the singer on stage was not great. A combination of being off-key, a poor microphone/speaker system, plus a very odd selection of songs, meant that she was unfortunately comically bad! I have a great respect for anyone that gets up on stage to perform, but this was really not great. The burlesque and cabaret performers that followed later were fantastic. Overall this is a fab venue. I was surprised by how good the food was, especially as many themed restaurants are not great. So i highly recommend this to anyone I also want to mention our waitress Liv. She is a credit to the Schloss team. Chatty, friendly, lovely smile, attentive....a great job! I am returning in September with a large group....but the main rule is come we must all come with a large appetite.

Booked because it looked interesting and also keen to try the cocktails. Venue is really big and was mostly empty but probably because it was daytime, can imagine it being much livelier at night. I like peace and quiet anyway so it suited us! Friendly and accommodating staff, lovely decor, very tasty food (huge portions) and really tasty and unique cocktails. Would definitely recommend. Only critique is that only the Sunday lunch menu was available which was not how it appeared when booking online.

Only giving 4 stars because sadly one of our meals - the chicken schnitzel was over cooked and dry but the manager recognised this and could not have been more apologetic and professional, which you just don’t see anymore, it was a refreshing change! The whole customer experience was simply excellent. The sausages on the other hand tasted great and were throughly enjoyable! I’d also highly recommend the Black Cherry Kaiser which goes down a treat! Great venue, with a great feel, really enjoyed the live music as we ate.

Very spacious place and nice for larger groups. They have great selection of beer and schnapps. The live band was very good and they take requests, making for a very fun evening out. It was very busy when we were there, so service was at times a little slower than I’d want, however the our server was super friendly and helpful. Overall, a really nice place for a post work social.
