Colonel Saab, now open in Trafalgar Square, adds a new chapter to London's culinary diversity following our successful flagship in Holborn. We are delighted to share our passion for blending traditional Indian flavours with contemporary culinary approaches. Our menu, crafted with care, features aromatic signature plates and innovative starters, each dish reflecting our dedication to culinary excellence.

The ambiance of our Trafalgar Square location is inspired by the Choudhary family's journeys across the Indian subcontinent. Restaurateur Roop Partap Choudhary has infused the restaurant with elements reflective of both his family's heritage and the rich traditions of Indian cuisine. Guests can enjoy the elegant bar, a cosy lounge area, and a dining room adorned with beautiful Firozabad chandeliers, alongside a mezzanine level and two private dining rooms. At Colonel Saab, we strive to offer a welcoming atmosphere that complements our menu, inviting guests to enjoy a taste of India's culinary and artistic heritage in the heart of London.

The Jaipur area, with its semi-private setting, is ideal for smaller gatherings, offering a cozy ambiance for private dining, team meetings, or small birthday parties. This space combines the exclusivity of private dining with the lively atmosphere of Colonel Saab, ensuring a unique and memorable experience for any group event.

A cozy place, went for the set price Christmas meal. Lovely decor, attentive wait staff, and tasty food. It would be nice to visit again and try the cuisines of different regions. Space is a little hard to hold a conversation in, but otherwise very charming.

It's a journey back home 🇮🇳 beautiful ambiance and very attentive staff. We ordered a six course taster meal and it was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the team member Sagar whose knowledge about what he was bringing to our table was to the point and was very attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try authentic Indian food. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s for sure.

Colonel Saab in London offers a fantastic mix of modern and traditional Indian food. We got lucky with a last-minute booking on a Saturday evening, though they could only give us a 90-minute slot. The restaurant itself is beautiful - filled with eye-catching chandeliers, colorful artwork, and interesting Indian decorations that really set the mood. The staff was wonderful about our time slot - even though we were enjoying the wine and atmosphere so much we stayed longer than planned, they never made us feel rushed. That kind of thoughtful service really made our evening special. The food was not just delicious but also looked amazing on the plate. The starters and main courses were spot on, full of flavor and generous portions. The dessert was interesting - heavy on cardamom, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It's definitely an acquired taste, though it looked stunning on the plate. The place is perfect for a special night out, though you don't need to dress super formally. Tip: Try to get a table near the display cases - they're filled with fascinating Indian artifacts that add to the experience. We found ourselves lingering over our wine, just taking in all the beautiful details. Overall, it's a great spot for quality Indian food in a beautiful setting. While it's on the pricier side, the combination of excellent service, atmosphere, and food makes it worth it. The fact that they were so accommodating about time just adds to the reasons to go back. Highly recommended!
