Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Hawksmoor Bar includes a terrace with views across the water, which is suitable for dining and events.
The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood and produce.
Hawksmoor Bar at Wood Wharf is the largest venue we have. It comes with its own heated waterside terrace, too. But what’s unique is that it offers the same à la carte dining experience as the restaurant upstairs – just in a more casual environment.
A lively atmosphere and quality drinks are a given, though: our wine and cocktail menus speak to everyone from post-work sippers to a weekend crowd looking for a proper night out.
The bar hits a high note with events. There’s space for up to 250/340 (winter/summer) people for exclusive-use drinks receptions and networking events. Or our semi-private spaces are great for after work gatherings, networking, all day delegate events, parties and special celebrations, with space for 160 people.
For seated group-dining experiences it’s 90 guests max for an exclusive hire or 60 for a semi private area.

August 2024What an amazing experience at Hawksmoor Canary Wharf. Thank you to server Jelcy who was an absolute sweetheart and made sure our every need was met. We cannot fault the service here - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Daniella who inspired us to try different drinks. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Recommend the gravy!!! The creamed spinach was outstanding and the frozen margarita divine! We will be back!

September 2024My partner and I visited yesterday Evening for our anniversary and we had the most amazing time. From working in hospitality I know how overwhelming it can be when it’s busy but our waiter did not fail to make us feel welcome!! Unfortunately I didn’t get his name( if this helps he was working downstairs at the back) but he deserves appreciation! Not only was the food great the service matched and they even gave us a little treat for our anniversary which really made our night! We will definitely be coming back thank you all so much. :)

July 2024Was very excited to go here but ended up a little disappointing. Good thing we had Luca as our server. Went here for a birthday celebration after doing much research, Hawksmoore seemed like the place to go in London. It was a cool spot on the water. Drinks were tasty and made well. We ordered our food but moments later we learned that they were out of the steaks we wanted. So we had to do this a couple more times, turns out the restaurant was out of majority of their steaks and only certain sizes left. Would have made sense if it was at the end of the night but the place just opened up 30 minutes ago. Every table around us had the same problem. Can’t even remember what we settled with but it was alright. You could tell the quality of the beef was good but could have been seasoned better. We got some apps and sides that were good. Most of the food was good but I guess I was just expecting more from this place. All in all, the service exceeded the food during our experience. Luca was super friendly and took the time to have an amazing conversation with us. If you go to this place I would definitely ask for Luca as your server. Was going to do 3/5 stars but Luca made it a 4.

September 2024First time dining at Hawksmoor and it was for my good friend’s 30th birthday so we booked the private room upstairs and it was a lovely celebration. The private room details: Very spacious, lovely ambience and we were able to connect our own music, giving us our own little vibe. The service was top notch. A *special* shout out to Carolina, who made the evening very smooth. Little attention to detail like asking each individual guest if they’ll like to start on drinks as we were waiting for the full party to arrive, making everyone feel seen and kickstarting the evening with great service and care. Carolina was so kind, professional and just looked like she was happy to help celebrate our friend. Her service is actually what made me run to Google to leave this review within 24Hours! The food: Very tasty, and juicy steak. Enough food for everyone to enjoy and everything was always an ask away! Thank you for hosting us.
