Located in The Brunswick Centre just off Russell Square, this historic arthouse cinema has been refurbished to the highest standards in both technology and design.

All screening rooms have Sony 4K projectors, and the main screen offers a Dolby Atmos sound system for a multidimensional cinema experience, making it the ideal location for film premieres and galas. The venue’s five screens are named after historic venues operated by Curzon since 1934, including the beloved Renoir, which is the largest theatre-style auditorium seating up to 150 people (including a separate VIP balcony). We also have more intimate screening rooms that can seat up to 30 people. There are bars on all three levels of the cinema. This includes a ground floor foyer with outdoor seating, which can be used for networking and drinks receptions, hosting parties of up to 150 people.

Incorporating a modernist design throughout, Curzon Bloomsbury is one of our most elegant venues.

Our Lumiere and Plaza screens host 30 seats for smaller and more private events.

DCP Projector, fixed screen, Dolby 5.1/ 7.1 Sound, HDMI & VGA Cables

This place is amazing. I didn't have the chance to watch a movie there, but I will definitely go back it's on my to-do list. If you have time, definitely check it out they have food and drinks . Ps I have nothing bad to say about the staff 😊

Curzon Bloomsbury like other Curzon cinemas in that it has a fancy or esteemed shine to it but unlike some others the café is wider and a decent place to have some food after a movie. It is very elabourate and an enjoyable movie experience. If I had complaints it would be that at times the seats can be uncomfortable after long periods and the ticket prices outside of u25 discount are pretty pricey but that is not unique to Bloomsbury. All in all a great place to catch a movie especially in the afternoon and then have an after movie snack.

I have been coming here since it was Renoir, the staff they employ now should not be serving the general public, they have no idea how rude they are. I love coming here especially to use the cafe but the staff can ruin your day. And once again as I've reviewed before poor hygiene regarding food and Beverage handling. They should not be using dirty mobile phones while serving pizza with their gloves on and transferring ice from the bucket into the bar area with their hands. Give these people some training!
