Such a wonderful experience. We watched Hansel and Gretel, which the kids loved. They had all their Christmas lights up. Every member of staff we encountered were really kind and welcoming. We bought the £5 standing tickets and loved it.

Amazing! So cool to learn about this historic theater! We took the guided tour and our tour guide was wonderful! This is the third theater built to honor and commemorate Shakespeare and English theatre. Don’t miss the placard a few blocks away commemorating the site of the original.

Absolutely Incredible!!! What an amazing historic venue to experience in person. The tour that my family and I took was really well planned and organized. Our guide Gerard was really knowledgable and absolutely hilarious. He made the tour so interesting and engaging, given his acting background. He was truly one of the best tour guides we've ever had! Exploring this incredible structure along the Thames River is a must do!

A must-see for any theatre lover!! Went on one of the guided tours/talks (with Janet as the guide), which was highly engaging and very informative. Lots of opportunities for photos inside the theatre itself on the tour. The self-guided part of the exhibition was interesting and very easy to follow with a nice balance of text/information and activities/artefacts. Again, would definitely recommend doing a guided tour for some extra information and profound insight into the theatre’s history.
