SAMA Bankside is a unique bar, restaurant, events space and late night venue in the heart of London's Bankside on the Southbank between the Tate Modern and Oxo Tower.
SAMA Bankside would not be out of place in Brooklyn or Berlin and is located within Victorian railway arches over 2 floors besides Blackfriars Bridge and was voted "Best All In One Venue" in the Design My Night 2017/18 Awards within 6 months of opening.
The venue specialises in private hire for corporate events, away days, summer and Christmas parties, product launches, wrap parties, weddings and networking events. March 2025Found this gem of a restaurant whilst wandering around, tucked away from the main road but a beautiful little venue, tons of character, really comfortable seats (which always helps), smallish lunchtime menu but oh boy was the food delicious, in fact I’d go as far as to say outstanding. Friendly staff and quick service- lovely experience- thank you.

January 2025We hired the downstairs space to host a professional event and everything was perfect. Good selection of drinks and food. Useful features such as private cloakroom, screen/projector, mic etc. Steve (event manager) was great to work with and made sure all of our needs were met.

December 2024Lovely venue tucked away in Southwark. We hired an archway space for a birthday party and the staff were really kind and helpful. I ordered pizzas and some other bar food and our guests were really impressed with the quality of the food. The beer pong was fun and generally speaking it was a great chilled vibe. There were also some banging tunes later in the night. Highly recommended 👌
