The rooftop garden, originally designed by Arabella Lennox-Boyd, takes its inspiration from Corbusier’s Fifth Elevation, bold and formal. The interior of the restaurant is sleek and elegant using rich walnut veneer wall panelling, Jura limestone flooring, soft leather chairs and mocha upholstered banquettes. Coq d’Argent sits high above the noise of the City, surrounded by a secret garden.
A masterclass in French cooking at its best, the restaurant is the ideal place to escape those day-to-day stresses and enjoy top-class food, discreet service, fine wines and the feeling of being well and truly taken care of. Coq d’Argent has a long established reputation for excellence, not only in the quality we bestow but also for the care and attention to detail displayed by the whole team.

Yesterday, I visited Coq d’ARGENT restaurant, just a short 5-minute walk from St Paul's, Liverpool Street, Cannon Street, and Bank stations. This lovely restaurant has an amazing rooftop garden and bar with spectacular views and serves delicious French food made with fresh ingredients. We were there for a lunch meeting. I chose the Poussin, which is grilled baby chicken with red wine jus and pommes frites, along with a bottle of Italian rosé wine. For dessert, we had Paris Praline cream profiterole and Fondant au chocolat noir, which is a warm dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream. What I liked even more was how clearly they marked gluten-free dishes with a pink marker to avoid mixing them with other orders. Fabio, the manager, was very attentive, as were the other staff members. I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant and their rooftop bar. #doctorfoodielondon Nick

Stunning restaurant for a lovely Sunday roast. With 2 courses for £35 or 3 for £40 was definitely value for money. The oysters were sublime, terrine de lapin, delicious. Both the sirloin and lamb roasts were exceptional. Lovely sommelier Sergio , could have spent the afternoon speaking with him.

Having been invited to Sunday Lunch, I was as impressed with the staff as well as with the menu and the location. The 3 course Sunday Lunch option is more than fairly priced for the excellent food you get. All the staff was very friendly and the location is great. Can only highly recommend this restaurant!

We recently enjoyed the express lunch, which offered excellent value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, and as a special touch for my sister’s birthday, the server acknowledged our request and surprised us with homemade chocolate truffles. To top it off, the server kindly arranged for us to access the roof garden for pictures, making the celebration even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
