Located in the heart of Balham, The Exhibit has been a local institution for the last 23 years. Our all-day dining includes both bottomless brunch and dinner, with a stunning array of menu options that include both Vegan and Vegetarian Dishes, making us the perfect spot for get-togethers no matter what you are craving, at any time of day. No day at the Exhibit is the same with a range of events including; stand-up comedy, poetry, live music, life drawing and our latest addition Puppy yoga! Whether you are dancing the night away at our late night bar, singing your heart out in our Lucky Voice Karaoke Suite or relaxing in our Boutique cinema – a night at The Exhibit is one that you will never forget.

Based in our cinema, you can sing your heart out with our built in Karaoke system! This features amazing surround sound and super comfortable sofas. Our Karaoke/cinema is available to private hire for £195 for two hours. We can comfortably seat up to 20 people. You can make this up to 30 with seated and standing. We can also host kids parties in the karaoke room on Saturday and Sunday mornings and during school holidays (we have been told the close proximity to a bar makes these parties rather more enjoyable for the parents!)

● Private Hire events in The Gallery, The Studio and The Garden are strictly for over 21’s+ ●We are strictly over 21’s post 6pm every weekday and post 6pm at the weekend. ● Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been paid and the hire contract signed by both parties accepting the terms and conditions. ● DJs must be pre-approved & hired externally and they must bring their own equipment, The Exhibit will provide speakers. ● All deposits are refundable once the minimum spend has been achieved and no damage incurred to the private room. Refunds are administered the Monday after the event. It takes 5 to 10 working days for the refund to show in your bank account. ● Deposits are non refundable if the guest cancels the event. The events team will work with the customer to transfer the event to a different date or to use the deposit against food and drink spend at the venue. ● Deposits will be refunded and the booking cancelled in the event the venue is required to close by law due to Covid-19. ● All deposits must be paid via the secured link. We do not accept deposits in any other form. ● Food or drink that is not purchased from The Exhibit cannot be brought into the venue. ● Pre ordered food or drink packages must be placed a minimum of 3 working days prior to your event and paid for in full. Pre orders are non refundable. ● We would love you to decorate your space. Do not bring confetti into the venue as this damages the furniture. We will retain your full deposit to cover the cleaning costs if confetti is used including balloons that burst with confetti in it. Any decorations that require attaching to our property, please do speak to us in advance. ● The venue has a zero drug tolerance policy. Any breach of this will lead to the immediate end of the event and the deposit not being refunded. ● The venue has the right to refuse entry or service at any time. ● The party organiser is fully liable for any damage to the venue property during the event and will be charged in full for any cost accrued. ● If you wish to change the date of your event this will be at the sole discretion of the venue manager. ● We operate a smart casual dress code at all times. We kindly ask guests not to wear sports, beach and gym-wear including tracksuits or workout trainers. Smart and fashion trainers may be permitted. Caps and hats covering customers’ faces are not permitted due to our CCTV policy. Heavy coats are to be checked into the cloak room on arrival. Bags are all subject to search and large bags will be asked to be checked into the cloak room. The right of admission is reserved at all times. ● Promoted and ticketed events are strictly prohibited. Venue reserved the right to cancel the event and keep the deposit in full on breaching the rule. ● Venue will not be liable for any property lost or left after the event has finished. All personal property must be removed from the premises at the end of the event. ● All outdoor areas close at 11pm. ● All prices include VAT. ● The Exhibit does not accept cash payments. ● T&Cs are subject to change without notice. ● Further T&Cs may apply.

    I booked the studio for a hen party of 10, and will be recommending it to everyone. Eva kindly answered my many questions in advance, and on the day we were so lucky to have Gabriel looking after us - he went SO above and beyond, from ensuring we had all the drinks we wanted to kindly keeping an eye on the tab. Duncan checked in regularly to ensure everything was going to plan. Food was delicious and punctual, on the casual side but exactly what you'd want at a hen. The studio as a space was perfect for us, spacious enough to play games and have our life drawing guest, but small enough to feel cosy. If I plan a hen again this will be my go to - an honestly superstar team who will get you everything you need and go way above and beyond to nail your event. THANK YOU from Deanna's dirty hens!

    I would definitely recommend the Exhibit as a venue. The food was delicious, the service was great and the person who was assigned to help us in the room on the day was nothing short of amazing, I’m probably going to have to edit this comment because his name needs to be included here!!! Love love love ❤️ I will definitely book again.

    What a fantastic venue! I cannot recommend it enough. The whole team were excellent. Booking the venue and the run up to the event was smooth and seemless and when we arrived on the day the managers were so kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The bar staff were excellent and having a bar in the room was absolutely wonderful. The food was great! Everyone kept saying how tasty it was and also the cocktails were delicious. The fact that you are able to decorate the space yourself is brilliant, however it isn't even needed because the disco balls and lights make a brilliant party atmosphere. The amenities they have are also brilliant, sound system, TV, microphone, we were able to host a quiz which went down brilliantly. I cannot fault the staff or the venue and would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking to host an event. Thank you so much to the whole team, we all had an absolutely brilliant night! xx

    I had a great time at exhibit. Upstairs was warm and cosy. I went for the full English breakfast and to be honest I thought it was going to be a small plate but It a good size. The chicken and chorizo dumplings I didn't feel were dumplings but they were tasty and had a really good texture. The sausages were flavourful and well seasoned! The butter was a little too cold to slide over my toast but I liked that it came in its own separate bowl. I asked for well done eggs and that's exactly what I got and was happy to see black pepper on the egg BEFORE I had to add it myself! The beans came in a separate bowl and I also liked that but I would like more beans next time because they were really tasty with a drop of the hot honey! For drinks I opted for the Tequila punch which is strong and refreshing. I also had a Lychee martini which is one of my favourites and it was sweet without being overly sweet! I tried the passion fruit martini which wasn't my favourite but was still tasty and pretty drink. Our waiter Luay was just the energy we needed that day. He greeted us and gave us time to look over the menu and answer any questions we had for him. He was warm and vibrant, professional and personable. Great charisma and the service was fantastatic! I hope to come back to Exhibit and enjoy another Tequila Punch made by yours truly!! I really enjoyed my brunch experience. The service was smooth from the the greeting at the reception to the handover to the wait staff. The staff are attentive and positive which I enjoyed. It was also nice to see staff members interacting positively with each other but still remaining professional. I haven't been to exhibit for the last two years but from having such a positive experience I will be returning!

    What a fantastic place to visit in Balham. We came for the free quiz night and it was so much fun. We started the night with some delicious pizzas, which were from mamma dough, and WOW they were delicious! Then it was time for the quiz! The quiz was composed of a variety of things such as music covers, themes, pictures and it really had us thinking! Martin was a fantastic host and interacted with everyone who was playing along. Jessica was a fantastic waitress and made our night exceptionally wonderful - giving us recommendations, checking on us to see how we are throughout the night and just having a laugh with us. She really made us feel welcomed!
