February 2025I travel down to Liverpool with the family a couple of times a year. This is my go to hotel. Great location for shops, restaurants & transport. Has a pool for the kids and a good selection at breakfast. Always reasonably priced. Wouldn’t really stay anywhere else. Staff friendly & helpful too.

February 2025Stayed for a week across 2 rooms with a family of 5. Location couldn’t be better, on the door of Liverpool one and all bus routes. Swimming pool, sauna, gym are a great addition. Restaurant is good. Only thing that could be improved is the card system. They often stop working, hard to get the devices to read and the gym access expires after one use (so you need to keep getting them which is a joke).

December 2024I stayed at this hotel in late December, and I must say how impressed I was by the professional and friendly staff. In particular Abbie and Holly who worked in the bar area. Although very busy, no doubt due to the time of year, they both took the time to make me feel welcome. The hotel is clean, well located and the facilities are more than sufficient to earn the attributed 4 star rating. For me, however, it is the staff who make or break a guest experience. And it is the positive attitude of the staff at this location that compelled me to recommend this hotel as an ideal base for anyone requiring accommodation in Liverpool city centre.

February 2025We had to queue for 20 minutes on arrival. I can’t remember ever being in a hotel before where I had to wait this long to check in. The staff did not seem very concerned by the long wait that we had endured, and two of our rooms were not ready on arrival and had not been cleaned. There were long queues every evening we were there. The room was good overall and the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet at night and I heard no noise from other rooms or doors closing. The bed was comfortable and everyone slept quite well. There was no air-conditioning in the room which was a shame. It would’ve been nice if the water in the shower had been a bit warmer. I was a bit disappointed with breakfast - the seating area was poor compared to a Premier Inn and the sticky tables reminded me of being in a youth hostel. The location of the hotel is excellent.
