Such a beautiful hotel! The building is amazing there is so much history and the reception and bar area were open and spacious. Check in was easy, the gentlemen receptionist with glasses was very friendly and helpful! Our room on the 6th floor was so big and the bed was huge! Super comfy and welcoming, lots of nice tea and coffee in the room and virtually silent corridors which was amazing for a good nights sleep. Really highly recommend, we didn’t get a chance to check out the bar so hopefully we will be back soon for the whole experience!

We held our wedding here in the beautiful James Doyle suite. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing and made sure our day was perfect. The rooms were lovely too. There is so much choice at breakfast also! I highly recommend Aloft Liverpool.

Returned to Aloft to stay for Taylor Swift. As usual we had a brilliant time! The room was spacious and clean and the food and atmosphere in the bar was amazing. All the staff did brilliant even though they were really busy. Always so friendly and helpful. Love this hotel and will be back!

As part of a weekend trip to Liverpool, a friend and I spent a night in a twin room in the Aloft, having read positive reviews and comments about the hotel. In general, the comments reflect the experience. The staff were welcoming, and were happy to take our bags prior to check-in. The room itself was clean, and it had all of the amenities that would you would find at most hotels, so in that respect, we had no issues. If I had to nitpick, a couple of issues stood out. For anyone sharing with a friend, be aware of the fact that the bathroom door does not lock, and there is a 1 inch gap between the door and the wall. So if you position yourself correctly, then you can easily see someone sat on the toilet/in the shower. We had no issues with this, but obviously that depends on the person. The second issue was the amount of noise that could be heard through the door. We spent the Saturday night around the local bars, so an early morning start was the last thing on our mind. However, you could hear pretty much everything through the door. The lift, people walking by, and the cleaner knocking on doors and asking if people were in there. So once I was awake, that was it, I couldn't sleep. Overall, it was clean, had everything we needed, and the location was great. But just be aware of the two minor issues mentioned above!

We partied here for a small wedding reception before the destination wedding. It was cute and cosy. I would make few comments 1) lights at night was pure white. This should probably change to something softer? 2) BBQ wings and samosa was good. The food was served in a room adjacent 3) staff are very friendly and helpful 4) toilet is downstairs. So we took the lift down and walked towards the toilet. But it was no problem!
