A wonderful place, exuberant, enriched and enlightening. Our dog especially loved the little treats that came with the room. Lovely staff in addition who assisted greatly with everything and helped making our stay memorable.

We've just come back from a lovely one night stay at the Falcondale Hotel in Lampeter, where it was a delightful surprise to be upgraded to a large , well appointed room overlooking the beautiful gardens that surround this very comfortable hotel. Our evening meal was exceptionally good, enjoyed in a very pleasant ambience, with slick service from young Welsh staff. It seems that all travellers are welcome here:when a lone biker, tired and wet after a difficult journey, checked in without a reservation late that evening, he was served with an evening meal long after the kitchen had officially stopped serving. That is real Welsh hospitality and makes this hotel special.

Booked very late and arrived with two dogs just before last orders. Bedroom decor was oldish, but very clean. Hot water was instant. Walks around grounds were illustrated in guide in dog basket. Dinner was excellent. We had a medium rare and medium steak. They were as ordered. Fresh melon, pineapple and poached pear for breakfast was a nice surprise. Juice was fresh. Bread appeared to be home baked. Cooked breakfast was delicious. All ingredients appeared to be fresh and local. A good location for a relaxing couple of days with your dogs. Staff were very kind and obliging.

Very pleasant stay. Small hotel close to Lampeter. Room was lovely and had a modern bathroom, shame the shower was a little weak. Staff were friendly and helpful .We stayed just the one night and arrived on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of afternoon tea being served, so good atmosphere and mixed clientele. Sunday evening was very quiet, not sure if main chef had the night off but food was ok but was expecting better after seeing other reports. The hotel is in middle of nowhere, great for some especially if you want an escape or enjoy hiking, otherwise quite a travel to see coast or other attractions. Worth a visit especially if taken offer inclusive of dinner.
