Surrounded by the charming Kent countryside, the 17th Century inn and event barn boast the most beautiful views in a tranquil location. While you can enjoy the peace of the rural location in The Garden of England, the venue is conveniently located near the motorway network, perfect for your travelling guests.
The gorgeous Barn has preserved many of its original features, most notably the striking wooden beams. The spacious barn also boasts a minstrels’ gallery and wood burning stoves to create a peaceful and warm atmosphere in the winter months. The Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 130 guests for your romantic service and the following wedding breakfast. The barn is also great for your evening reception with space for up to 200 guests to celebrate into the night.

November 2024Della, Becky and the whole team at the Plough delivered an unforgettable wedding day for us in September. From our first meeting they made a very stressful experience seem like nothing was an issue or too much trouble putting us at ease throughout. The venue itself looked beautiful, rustic and elegant which is exactly what we had in mind. The food was exceptional and we had lots of choice for the day. The day itself ran like clockwork, even with them having to deal with a slight delay. Any extras we wanted I.e specific wines or a gazebo putting up was never too much trouble for them and they were very accommodating to all our wishes. Thank you!
