Great campsite! Lots of field options electric and non electric. Lots of open spaces and a nice shower/toilet block and washing up facilities. The Hop Farm itself is actually shut and has been since 2023. We came this year to visit and was disappointed to learn that it hasn't reopened despite advertising for summer 2024 on their website.

Lovely countryside location. Grubby building. Brilliant caterer of burgers/bacon/sausage sandwich/fish and chips variety. Went to Rock, Gem & Bead fair. Loos ok, no mirror or coat hook. Everything could be better. It is NOT a hotel

Sadly this site did not suit us. It’s a very large spread out site that I assume accommodates huge numbers in the summer. During our stay there were few campers but we found the toilets and showers to be dirty so using my imagination I doubt it’s any better when the site is busy. There are 2 or 3 field with EHU but the remaining space is free camping and we saw 3 or 4 large groups so again I wonder what it will be like when busy. The most irritating thing for me was the amount of free campers who drove up to the toilets and showers several times a day instead of walking. Definitely not enough washing up sinks either. River access is limited and the site would benefit for building a launch ramp in conjunction with the local council. Safety first for me.
