We can cater for wedding breakfasts with up to 85 guests followed by a wonderful evening reception with 160 guests. The air-conditioned function room is a fantastic setting for your celebrations and a private function bar can be made available for you and your guests.

December 2024The location was great just off the motorway turning which not far and the parking was easy. Arrived with a very warm welcome, the hospitality side was excellent standard, the staff were so helpful with great customer service skills. The room was clean. The facilities like the gym and pool was good, lovely temperature for swimming n good sauna n steam room. The restaurant and food was great. Overall I definitely will be visiting again, I fact I have already booked my next stay, loving the IHG membership scheme, absolutely highly recommend

March 2025I was here for a solo business trip. Staff were very friendly, rooms were good, lovely bathrooms with a walk in shower. Ate and drank in the bar, I was served by Chloe. Her service was exceptional, she was very polite, friendly, and professional.

January 2025I travel for work and this was my first time here. It's wonderful: all the staff are *AMAZING* - in full capitals - and they are what makes this place. Particularly as a woman travelling, hotels can be pretty faceless places - not here. All the staff, even passing the staff maintaining the rooms in the corridor, are *wonderful*. In the restaurant they are all so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Some top flight hotels would wish they had staff with this enthusiasm and attention to detail. What's so amazing is it's not just single individuals who are incredible, it's also how they all work together so passionately as a team. You are a *lucky* company to have such individuals working for you. The hotel itself is nice, and has a gym and swimming pool (which puts it above Premier Inns where I normally stay). The Restaurant and bar area are lovely, and the food is excellent on the menu (the brie and beetroot tart with kale pastry is fantastic). But some of the rooms are just looking a bit tired/in need of refurbishment. Holiday Inn needs to invest in the rooms/infrastructure to bring that up to the levels of the amazing staff they have there. If they did this they could blow any other Hotel in the area out of the water! Your staff are absolutely *amazing*; please invest in your infrastructure so you do them all justice.

February 2025Overall a nice hotel for both a long and a short stay, but unfortunately it is not in the centre or at a walking distance from it. The rooms are really nice! The service is really good. A special mention to Kayleigh for her great dinner service and kindness, and for creating a wonderful pineapple daiquiri! 😊

January 2025Regular visitor to The Holiday Inn Rochester to use the spa facilities on a pay as you go basis, unfortunately during my last visit the steam room was out of action and during our time there the hot tub had to be closed because of high chlorine levels, despite being charged full priced admission upon entering. The male changing room facilities needed some attention due to multiple lockers being broken or damaged however they were kept clean. The staff member who was working was extremely friendly and polite and offered our child to use one of the free pool noodles that they had available. Unfortunately during previous visits the tablet hasn’t recorded the visit despite entering the car registration meaning in the following days I’ve received a letter advising of a fixed penalty notice which I’m currently appealing.
