Our newly refurbished 4 Star Hotel is perfectly located among stunning gardens just off of the A2. When you choose our venue for your function or wedding you can be sure that you will get the highest standards of service and the very best value for money without compromise.
Should you wish to hold a civil ceremony at the Holiday Inn Dover then you can choose to get wed in our gorgeous gazebo located in the landscaped gardens of the hotel, or in one of our two licensed rooms.
We also have a number of different rooms for your wedding reception. The Octagon Suite is a wonderful intimate room that is perfect for a smaller wedding, and the elegant Olive Tree restaurant is available for a reception with a larger guest list. However, if you’re looking for something even bigger, our Grand Marquee comes complete with its own starlight canopy, dance floor, Air Condition/Heating, Toilets and bar area.
We also have 68 en-suite bedrooms that are available to you and your guests at discounted rates so that you all can enjoy our facilities!

January 2025Went there first time today for their Sunday roast deal, couldn't have been more impressed, food was delicious and choices were plentiful. Thank you. Staff where lovely too and they had a lovely lady pianist playing too delightful

February 2025Sunday carvery What a lovely carvery dinner we had here today. A lovely selection of starters, roast and desserts The carvery was hot and a good selection, nice meat portion. Nice variety of starters and desserts. Couldn’t fault it. And such a good price for what you get. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Lovely atmosphere with the piano playing. I would recommend and definitely book again.

February 2025Check-in was smooth. Big thanks to Suraj at reception explaining in detail about the city as it was my first visit. No room services available even for towels, ice cubes and glasses. Room was clean and spacious.

January 2025Came with my family for Sunday roast, booked in. Daughter had allergies and was told to inform staff of this so they was aware prior to us arriving. We arrived and no such dietary changes where made we had to wait for a plain peice of chicken to be brought out which was very dry. Limited starters for her aswell so all she could have was cucumber and potatoe salad. We kept trying to find staff to ask what else could be gluten free but every time they just said let me check and would leave us standing there. For the "normal" roast for the remaining 4 of us the beef was extremely rubbery and I couldn't eat it and the Cabbage was bitter and left an unpleasant taste in the mouth, the roast potatoes were anaemic and flavourless and so was the rest of the food. Cauliflower cheese was nice although they didn't have gluten free option for this either. We were also charged for the drink that was supposed to be free. 4 drinks came off but not the 5th, however got home before we noticed. Overall not worth the money in my opinion. I did reach out to them prior to this review but unfortunately was just fobbed off with we will give you a small discount next time you come. No real care for complaint.
