November 2024This is an absolutely wonderful concert hall. The programme is open to the public despite being part of the site of Benenden school so go if you can. I saw the Britten Sinfonia and it was a fantastic evening - I was blown away by their skill, the stunning programme and the acoustics and sight lines of the venue. Beats London venues any day....even though I'm a Londoner! It also has a very helpful box office as there was an issue with my tickets.

November 2024My wife and I have been to a number of Hemsted events and have already booked for 3 more in 2025. We enjoyed the Sheku Kanneh-Mason concert but were unable what he said via the hand-held microphone as the volume was set far too low. It was noticeable that only the front few rows laughed when he said something amusing. I should have mentioned it to the staff! This is easily remedied and we hope that the problem doesn't arise next time we are in the concert hall.
