Believe it or not, this was the hotel that was part of a National Holidays package! What a lovely hotel. Rooms were fantastic, superking bed, little tea/coffee/kettle unit with bottled water & biscuits, bathroom well appointed with a walk in shower & soft close toilet seat. We had a set menu, which is quite common for coach trips but the standard of the food was much higher than I expected. I would stay here again.

Where can we begin? Our wedding venue was closed down a few days before our wedding took place and everything looked bleak. I put a post on Facebook where Emily reached out to say Cedar Court can help. We arranged to meet on Thursday (2 days before the wedding). We sat down with Emily, Jo and Gareth and they helped save our wedding. We all got everything put together in a very short period of time and WOW !!! Our wedding was THE BEST it could have ever been. Cedar Court at Ainley Top is a stunning venue with a lovely garden and courtyard. All of our guests had told us that our wedding is the best they have been to. To all the staff who catered our wedding, thank you !! Charlotte B you were so helpful in everything you did on our wedding. When the food was served everyone was so attentive. Jo had gone round our tables to confirm any allergies and everyone had their food catered for accordingly. Every member of staff involved went above and beyond. At the end of the night, Love Story was playing and I was so overcome with emotion as all the staff joined us on the dance floor and each and every one of their faces were beaming with happiness. You all exceeded our expectations, the hotel was beautiful, the staff were so welcoming and again all we can say is thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. Love the new Mr & Mrs Schofield x

Spacious modern, well presented and clean. Check in is self service using a table which I'm not keen on using but there was a member of staff on hand to deal with any problems. Good food and the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable but the TV wouldn't pick up a signal to watch live broadcast and there are no heating controls in the room which on the chilly night I stayed was less than ideal. Perfectly located for the M62 motorway with plenty of free parking for guests and it's approximately 15 minutes in a taxi from Huddersfield railway station. P

Good location, easily accessible, comfortable spacious room. My room was right next to their outdoor bar, so the only way I could sleep was by wearing earplugs. £4 nightly charge for parking was a joke - never been charged for parking in a hotel previously. Paid £220 for a 3-night stay in the middle of the week at the end of July, so about £73/night - ok but not great value for money given the level of accommodation/services offered doesn't seem fitting to a 4-star hotel. I probably won't return unless there are no other viable options.

Foods good rooms are nice. But expect constant parking fines to your home post stay. Then you have to ring them where your put on hold all the time just very annoying. Plus the hotel isn’t near anything so why would anyone want to park there unless your staying at the hotel.
